I always gravitated towards artists long before I started taking my own artistic talents seriously. We recognize each other even before we realize it.
#6 – The best thing about being an Artist is…….other Artists.
There is almost always an instant connection among artists as we recognize a fellow traveler on the creative path. We are explorers in this world, always in awe of a deliciously blue sky on a sunny day or the way a river stone feels in the palm of our hand. We are always thinking of ways to bring those experiences to our art so we can understand them in a deeper way. We are curious about each other’s work and can talk forever about it, because it really isn’t “work” – it is our way of understanding life.
